We booked a 3 night break via The Sun newspaper promotion and there wasn't much choice left so we plumped for Broadland Sands. We'd booked a bronze standard dog friendly caravan and after reading reviews our expectations were fairly low.

We arrived around 8:30pm on the Friday evening and there was a bit of a mix up in that someone else had been given our caravan, we both had the same name! It took about 20 minutes to sort out and as an apology we were given dinner vouchers for the restaurant which was a great touch and very appreciated.

The caravan was great, yes a basic van but in pretty good condition and no sign of dogs when we entered. We ate in the restaurant both Saturday and Sunday evenings and we found the food was very good, definitely as good as any other holiday park we have eaten at. Our 4 year old daughter loved the park and evening entertainment, it was really busy but then it was a bank holiday weekend and half term.

Overall we had a really good weekend and wouldn't hesitate to recommend anyone to stay here.

Booked this as a last minute break. Staff were very friendly and helpful, caravan was clean and modern. Site was quiet. Swimming pool is large but outdoors-didn't deter other half!.
Be warned-you cannot access beach due to cliff erosion other than that an good place to stay-very relaxed site with no complications and staff very eager to help-even phoned me to ask if everything was OK-very appreciated.
Only criticism (being very picky!) was lack of kitchen equipment-NO TEA POT!
Would happily use this site again if planning a visit to Suffolk as easy access to Lowestoft, Gt Yarmouth & Broads.

Excellent customer service!! Heavy snow had caused the site to struggle and the caravan they had initially reserved for us was not suitable for a very young family. After discussing the problems with Dave at reception he soon came up with a solution, relocated us all into a new caravan, resolving the problem without any question of costs. The site has great views of the coastline and is not too big to be too busy. The entertainment staff really made my children smile and worked hard to make sure we all had a great stay. We will return!! Thank you all

I booked this last minute Wednesday to celebrate my son finishing his SAT'S, we just wanted to do something that wouldn't cost loads so wasn't expecting it to be 5 star but I was impressed, we booked a silver caravan which was lovely inside its probably the best caravan I have stayed in, the entertainment was better then i was expecting, The club house was nice and modern, cant comment on the food as we went self catering but drinks were reasonably priced, ok there isn't loads to do there but it is not Butlins, you pay for what you get , it has the basics, a small arcades, park for the little ones, and the outdoor pool. In the morning they had a little bouncy castle with slide in the club house for toddlers and some little toys to play with.
The pool wasn't very warm but the kids still enjoyed it, we have been on holiday abroad and its a lot colder even in 30 degrees heat.
Also would like to comment on all the staff we spoke with, very friendly and helpful so thank you for a great weekend away we will come back.

Hi Leanne

I am so pleased to hear that you had a great holiday with us and you enjoyed the entertainment, and the silver caravan was as you described it "the best caravan you have stayed in". I am glad to hear that the staff treated you you so well and will be sure to pass your comments on to the team.
