We stayed at Maunsel house this weekend for my son's wedding. It was absolutely glorious. The staff are so friendly and attentive to detail the day could not have gone better. The venue is also very flexible with arrangements for inside/outdoors ceremonies weather dependant but are willing to leave the decision until the day of the wedding.
I can't praise the staff enough they are so hard working, the house is brilliant, and the grounds are lovely.
The best wedding - can highly recommend this venue for a wedding.

Unfortunately the customer service from the booking office leaves a huge amount to be desired. Communication is at best hap hazard, and at worst disorganized, and unhelpful. I have given them every chance to make amends.

Room tip: leave nothing unattended!

We came to Blacklistmeetings at Maunsel House. We were in amazing party, they have everything. Fire eaters, circus music, casino, everything....and the staff was so friendly. Especially Sandra, she take care of us along with Blacklist staff.
We felt very relaxed right away and we have a time we will never forget.. The house is amazing and our time there will be a a dream that we never forget in our lives.. Thank you to everyone at Maunsel and Blacklist.

Room tip: I didnt see all the rooms inside. But it was like living in a Palace for some hours.

We were honoured to be invited to a lovely wedding at this amazingly beautiful property in the West Country. Owned by Sir Benjamin Slade, the house is situated in stunning grounds that one can roam at will. The staff were utterly charming, nothing was too much trouble and the food and wines were all superb.

Me and my husband where looking for a little getaway. Somewhere isolated but walks for us and the dog and this was the place!

The Dairy Mead Lodge was something out of a fairy tale. Beautiful, quite and surrounded by Muscovy ducks! Who we like think became our friends in a way! Very friendly birds and always greeted us when we left the lodge. There is a pond right outside always full of beautiful birds.

The Lodge was bliss and the estate stunning. We would recommended the canal works that are mentioned in the welcome pack. There is so much to explore alone in the grounds we rarely traveled far.

The Staff were amazing. Helpful and so sweet and kind. A wonderful welcome on arrival with wine, milk, bread and juice. Really so thoughtful. Nothing was too much trouble to them.

Its a magical place and we would recommend it to anyone that just wants to hide away for a few days.

Highlight for us, the swings by the house. You really do have to have a go! and meeting Sir Benjamin Slade and his walking companions. Such good boys. (The dogs! although Sir Slade was charming of course)

Note: If you can't find what you need in the lodge just ask at the house. They truly will do all they can to help you. It's really refreshing.

We would love to return. Thank you.
