We finally stopped in our home town for crepes in this lovely little creperie. Excellent choices of sweet and savory, specials of the day and a few Breakfast choices. I had the Paris, organic ham, brie, honey, raspberry jam in a well-presented crepe holder (easy to eat with tear off sections as you get down farther into the goodies). Outside seating for 10 in cute small tables in the shade, around the corner from Starbucks if you need some coffee with your crepe. They sell hot tea, hot chocolates and drinks from a cooler.
The kind of foodie experience you'd think you'd have only in a city like Chicago. Hand-made crepes stuffed with fresh ingredients. So good. Eating them on-site seems like the only way to go...lest the crepe absorb the liquids and go mushy on you.
On a trip back from Chicago to Aurora we were looking for something different. Did some internet research and found the Little Creperie. Very small and limited indoor and outdoor seating but the huge choice of crepes using fresh ingredients was amazing. Delicious.
I'd driven by a couple of times and finally made plans to meet a friend for an early lunch - wise choice as this new little spot gets VERY busy at mealtime. We were early enough that there were a few open tables outside - along the street. BE CAREFUL where you park as there are signs directly across the street that say it is for resident parking only.
Nobody has a good day when they are towed away! There are many varieties of savory and sweet crepes; there are the daily specials; you can build your own. They also offer suggestions for children's creations. The drink choices are more limited and they only sell water bottles if you choose water. A nice addition to CH.
