“Ho-o-ly Cow! Great Seafood”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 May 2012

Absolutely great food, hands down. We reserved in the afternoon for same day evening dinner @ 6:00pm. Upon arrival we were warmly greeted by the hosts, and shown to our table. The restaurant was not too busy at that hour but quickly filled up around 6:30pm. Although recognized for their premium steaks we chose seafood for our dinner that evening. Our server allowed us to taste-test 2 chardonnay's, so that we could select a wine of our liking, we chose the Mer Soleil. Our appetizers, the Sesame Crusted Tuna and the Crispy Polenta were mouth-wateringly delicious, and our main entrées, Yellowfin Tuna and Tilapia were outstanding. Our server was friendly and took the time to share with us the history of the building. He even showed us the famous tunnels, now blocked off, that run throughout the basement, as well as a look at the 'vault'. They have an extensive menu, something for everyone, and there were some families dining here as well. Overall a great experience, great food and service, however I feel the tables are a bit too close together for any kind of privacy. Overall I would definetly recommend this restaurant.

“You pay for the name!”

Nice atmosphere but you are paying for the name. Service can be upgraded a bit. They forgot my sons kids meal and we had to ask for it. It still took 20 minutes,.

“Fun for everyone - causal and dressy.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 April 2012

Love their stake, mashed potatoes and sautéed mushrooms. You could either enjoy yourself at the bar - where you could still eat dinner, or you could treat yourself to a great dinner in one of the dining rooms. I love how they come with a tray to present the different types/cuts of meat that you could choose from.

“Take me out to the ballgame..”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 April 2012

Then take me out to eat at Harry Caray's. This has been a favorite watering hole and super fun gathering spot for years but now the fabulous folks at HC have added a delicious new twist - a gluten-free menu! Hooray!! The steaks here are the stars of the menu but I love the salads, too. Three of the best are the Chicken Chopped, the Seafood Cobb or the Dutchies -- YUM!! My taste buds are among the few that crave Brussels sprouts and HC's Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Pancetta is a side dish favorite. Chicagoans miss Harry at the ballpark but his spirit lives on during each happy and delicious visit to the restaurants bearing his name.
