We went for a late Saturday lunch after reading about this tavern in a guide in the hotel room. All of the food and drink is from the surround area, and the origin of the food is clearly labeled. The bar tenders were quiet friendly and informative. We had the cheese curds with a delicious smoky ketchup followed by the fish and chips- also delightful. There is a cocktail menu of drinks using spirits from local distilleries. I had the John Deere Beer and a pear cider. The atmosphere was casual and cozy. I wish I lived closer so I could go back again.
