A great place to go before or after the Lincoln Park Zoo. Wonderful picnic spot, place to relax, ride bikes, run around, etc. A must see while in Chicago!

Enjoy beautiful views of the city from this tranquil oasis, especially near the Nature Museum. There are fun trails for kiddos and wide-open spaces.

This park is huge and goes right along the lake. The neighborhood is really safe and has lots of places to eat. You can walk, bike, picnic or just people watch. Nice way to take a city break.

My wife and I just returned from an exhilarating walk through Lincoln Park and I couldn't wait to write a review of our experience. Lincoln Park, bounded by North Avenue on the South, Clark Street on the West, Lake Shore Drive and Lake Michigan on the east and Fullerton Avenue on the North, is one of Chicago's most enjoyable destinations. I must admit that we are very fortunate because we live only a half-block from the park so we take frequent walks. There are so many things to see, even if you only want to sit on a bench and watch the people stroll by. There is the free Lincoln Park Zoo, one of the grandest zoos in the world, and the Nature Boardwalk around the Lincoln Park lagoon. Your kids will love to visit the children's zoo. Watch a soccer math or a baseball game, stop at Gouch's mausoleum, marvel at Ulysses S. Grant's huge statue or visit the Chicago Botanical Gardens on the north end of the zoo or the Chicago History Museum at North and Clark. Walk across Fullerton Avenue and gaze at the boats moored in the Diversey Harbor marina. Need a lunch break? There is a food court in the zoo and a pavilion and ice cream shoppe at the lagoon. Or visit Nookies on North Wells Street or Elly's at North and Clark or Tiparos on North Clark Street near Elly's. Walk across the pedestrian bridge to North Avenue Beach and get an unobstructed and awesome view of Chicago's magnificent skyline. There is so much so do and see. I can't believe we have access to it every day of the year.

A place of relaxation from the busy city. Very enjoyable, yet plenty to see and enjoy. Perfect relaxation
