Staff was way above and beyond polite and helpful. Very clean hotel from lobby to room to pool. Lovely outdoor area off the pool area. Would be nice if it was accessible other than through the pool area.

Great location and price but often attracts partiers and young people that might drink and smoke (all kinds of stuff) and be a lit rowdy late at night. the staff is nice and restaurant in the hotel is awesome! Great food and they will bring to the room hot and fresh, which is a bonus during Covid. All tings considered it is a little better than average but not quite- very good.

Pros: Good Location in the heart of river north. A lot of good restaurants walking distance.

Cons: Bed need to be improved.

Room has a fair space with an office table.

Maritza from the front desk is the most adorable person. If you need something just call her. She will do everything she can. The Bar inside the hotel is pretty good with a fair price for a drink late night.

I have stayed at your hotel several times while visiting Chicago. I love the updated decor and the new breakfast vouchers. The hotel is within walking distance of practically everything we wanted to see.

During COVID 19 spike, no masks on staff in rooms or common areas. Back door to ground floor broken, unlocked at all times. Drug deals occurred in parking lot-even an overdose event 20 feet fr our car

We are sadden to hear you had an unpleasant experience at a Best Western, but we believe your stay was at a different hotel and not at Best Western River North hotel in downtown Chicago as your comments do not match with our property. All of our staff wear masks. We have security camera footage to back this up.We also have several other COVID -19 protocols in place including partitions in the front desk area, hand sanitizer stations along with social distancing markers. We do not have a back door to the ground floor as mentioned in your review. We have 2 entrances, both in the front of the hotel. We have a parking attendant that patrols our lot and have not had any instances as you have described.

Again we are sorry to hear that you had an unpleasant stay and apologize on behalf of Best Western.
