Good location, reasonable parking nearby, very comfortable accommodations. Traded into property as a Bluegreen owner. Was able to walk to many attractions and State St. businesses; Art Institute, Millennium Park, and lakefront are close by.

The staff was super friendly and genuine during our trip. Room was clean and comfortable, surprisingly spacious for downtown location/price. Good location for theater visitors and Grant/Millennium park activities. We'll be back.

Slightly quaint luxury hotel in downtown Chicago. You can make out that it was built a long time ago by the structure of the stairways and the floor splits and the lobby and the layout, but every modern convenience you need is available.

The rooms are large and very clean. Staff were very friendly and courteous. No water bottles in the room, though you can get plenty of drinking water at the gym.

Wifi is strong and stable.

Extremely conveniently located 1 1/2 blocks south of Jackson St CTA subway stop (i.e., very easy to get to from O'Hare if you are not lugging suitcases), and within stumbling distance of an L stop. The entryway feels a bit camouflaged, but during the night they conveniently project a logo onto the sidewalk.

The menu in the restaurant is quite interesting (American/Greek), but wish it was broader.

I loved this hotel. It's downtown, has a history, and is very close to the building where I need to go for work. It's boutique like and tastefully decorated. There's a bar and restaurant attached also. The bed isn't very comfortable and there is a lot of noise outside but they give you headphones and I imagine that's natural when you're located downtown in a big city.

We exchanged over a year in advance and knew this was just a hotel room but we were pleasantly surprised by this lovely boutique hotel! Everyone working at this hotel was welcoming and courteous! We phoned a day ahead and the morning of our arrival and asked for a higher floor and East view. We were assigned a room on 7th floor and had plenty of light.
The bathroom was small but had a nice sized tile shower that I loved.
Noise while trying to sleep bothers me a lot but I did not even need to use the earplugs the hotel provided. We did a lot of walking and enjoyed the fresh air and sunshine every day. Slept soundly every night.
Meli's served wonderful breakfasts but their are numerous other places close by. We stopped a the BP station on the corner and CVS just a block away to get Propel water for our daily excursions.
This hotel is perfect for couples! The location is close to all forms of transportation if you don't want to walk.
