This was a surprising find. You would expect restaurants at airport hotels to be uninspired and not unique. This one is very distinctive- seems like an old school place in the middle of the city. Once you are in the restaurant you can forget you are at the airport. Dark, old timey decor. The waitresses wear these throwback outfits (a bit skimpy but nothing to be offended over). The food was uniformly good- not off the charts but overall quite good. And it came very quickly- sometimes when food comes too quickly I get concerned that it has been sitting under a hot light for hours, but that wasn't the case. They were just very efficient. If you are at the hotel for an overnight and want to forget that you're in the middle of traveling, this will be a good way to step away from the whole airport/transit feel and forget about it for a little while.

If you're staying at the Hilton and want to decide between the two restaurants, eat here. The pasta with the sun dried tomatoes was delicious. This restaurant is more reasonably priced, too.

This place is a bazaar experience that you should have. It's like stepping into a speakeasy. Live piano player and singer each time I've been there. I've only had drink there -- skip the wine and stick with beer or cocktails. Go for the decor and the fringed waitress uniforms.

The Gaslight Club is an old, family owned restaurant on the property of the O'Hare Hilton in Chicago. It's a classic old steakhouse, and intentionally invokes the burlesque era. (You're in the home city of Hugh Hefner, remember!)

There are plenty of different seating options, including a small semi-private room right at the entrance; comfortable booths; and a seating area around the bar with a piano and live entertainment.

The waiters are all wearing formal attire -- tuxedoes without the jackets. The waitresses are, well, the reason for the oooo la la title. They are attired in stereotypical burlesque outfits: one piece outfits that offer an obvious yet respectable amount of cleavage, with fishnet stockings and not too much lace or frills. The decor is very reminiscent of the burlesque days, with an emphasis (not terribly heavy) on deep, plush reds, as you would expect.

Beyond that, there's food! It's a steakhouse, of course. I had scallops in bacon butter sauce for my appetizer, and they were delicious! The scallops were cooked perfectly: tender, flavorful, and oh so tasty. And the steak? Melt-in-your-mouth tender! I always order medium, and it's interesting these days to see what that means to the chef. In this case, I would have called what I got much closer to medium rare; the inside of the steak wasn't pink, but much closer to red. Nonetheless, it was very, very tasty.

The wine list is nice, and they have a good complement of other drinks, including some lovely ports for dessert.

If you're at the O'Hare Hilton, this is a fun evening!

The Club will sit you back in time and take you to a far different location and that is not a bad thing.
We had an excellent waitress who was very professional and attentive to our needs. My wife and I started with drinks and an appetizer of fried calamari which was served just after the drinks and were excellent we both order our entrees of Veal Marsala and a Chicken Caesar and they were served soon after the completion of our calamari and both were very good.
The service was great and the food was better then I was expecting we will eat their again when possible.
