“Must See During Summer”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 February 2012

If you are planning a trip to Chicago in the Summer, try to make some time to stop by for a ball game. Along with Fenway, this is one of the few sporting venues left in America that can take you back in time. While a lot of people visit Wrigley as tourists... you'll still find a lot of passionate baseball fans and plenty of people looking to enjoy the summer.

“A MUST !!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 February 2012

If you do one think when visiting Chicago during baseball season, you have to go tp Wrigley Field. You will definately get a warm and fuzzy retro feeling as soon as you see this place. Half the fun is taking the "ELL" from downtown to the ball park. When you shop for seats, closer isn't alway better for a day game. My best and most fun experiance was the very top row just to the third base side of home plate. There is no solid wall, just a fence which provides for a nice breeze during the game and !!! you are in the shade. Beer of choice to go with your peanuts>>>OLD STYLE or OLD STYLE Light. "take me out to the ball game.....:

“Baseball as it should be -- outdoors and uncovered!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 February 2012

There are only a few original classic ball parks left in the U.S. and this one is truly special. The Fenway in Boston comes close but there's nothing like Cubs' fans. Get tickets and take the family out to the ball game.

“You must go regardless of your favorite team”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 February 2012

Going to Wrigley is an event. The experience is one to remember regardless of the team that you route for. Where else will you find the neighborhood vendors, the kids playing their "drums" on the sidewalk and the fans dancing. If your seats on the 3rd base side (in the shade) and the wind is blowing off the lake, be prepared with a jacket. It does not matter if it is 80 degrees outside on the street. Now, if only the Cubs had a winning team and a decent bullpen!
