Nice hotel with bungalows, room clean, bathroom OK in a quite area. A varan was at our door when we step in! No wifi in the room. The restaurant has a good choice of food in terms of buffet for dinner and breakfast.

We were impressed by this lovely place, very natural setting in the jungle, polite service (they opened up the pool for us to have a dip at 7pm and provided towels) and impressive food (my husband had his best rice and curry of the whole holiday!). It was rather empty when we were there, but I wish we had a bit more time to enjoy the hammocks in the grounds.

service is good..but need overall some improvement . beautiful grounds with a decent pool and restaurant
service is where the hotel really excels. Staff disarm new arrivals with dazzling smiles, share novel suggestions of what to see and do in the local area, and attend to you without being intrusive.

We stayed here for two nights and can not speak highly enough of the property or the staff. The only downside is the remoteness of the location but that is what we wanted.

We have toured Southern Africa a lot and stayed in many, many places that were not a patch on this place.

Set in beautiful grounds with a decent pool and an onsite restaurant, this property is an ideal stopping point to Safari from.

The rooms are basic but they have sufficient ( Mini fridge, kettle, AC unit, phone, TV, safe, etc) within them to ensure your stay is catered for well enough.

I am so pleased the staff aided us when we needed some medical attention. It was not an emergency but my wife needed to see a doctor. The team at the hotel called the local town, arranged a consultation and ferried us there and back. On our return I wanted to pay for the journey but they would not take any money, just to know my wife had received treatment was sufficient payment. Outstanding customer focused service. My wife’s ailment was in no related to the property.

We ate three meals here. Breakfast is not worth the money and should be avoided but both evening meals we had were of good quality and as the two of us had a different meal each evening, we can say four meals in total were very good.

This is not a luxury hotel, this is fairly priced, in the country, safari style property and we really enjoyed it.

We took the safari from here too, we had 2 very, very close experiences with elephants by the jeep. The driver clearly knew where to find them as we were alone for the first and on the second joined by other groups once we had stopped.

The hotel held much promise, as was set in lovely grounds with an inviting pool.
The bungalows were unusual, with polished concrete finish on the walls and floor, just a shame that the same finishing touches were not executed everywhere else.

However, the real let down was the slow service. Although we were a large group (16 people), they were aware that we needed lunch, but they simply weren’t prepared to cater for us. It took almost 1 hour for my pineapple juice to arrive - I appreciate it was freshly squeezed, but I would have had a Sprite if i realised that the wait would be so long. The staff were not equipped to effectively deal with their customers, with little to no explanation of the delay. Eventually the Manager did offer his apologies, but in these circumstances he should have offered complimentary drinks/lunch.
