Tried Korean cuisine for the first time from Wooil, and I am truly impressed. I tried Hot Bimbimbap. It's basically combination if rice, seasoned beef, a whole lot if veggies including carrot, spinach, mushrooms served in a hot stone pot. The presentation itself is anazing, and it tastes awesome. Meals come with a clear veg soup and side plate with combination of fish, veggies and pickle.

Sharing the pic of this super tasty dish.

So far, i have tried their bulgogi, fried rice and Bimbimbap, and ofcourse you guessed it right, my favorite so far is Bimbimbap.

Having reserved a table with a BBQ-grill, my dining companions and I arrived at the appointed time and were immediately seated. Service was very attentive and the meal excellent. At Woo IL you have the choice of ordering from the menu and of numerous BBQ offerings; as well as having the kitchen prepare them for you, or, you can grill them yourself. Grilling the items yourself allows you to maintain the speed of the meal more so than if the kitchen is preparing your meal for you.
A tradition of Korean cuisine is for meals to be served with many condiments, e.g., Kimchi {of which we had a selection of three styles: one of cabbage - new/fresh and crisp, another or turnip - firm and a little tart, as well as an older and more sour cabbage presentation; all three were nicely spiced with red-peppers. The squash or pumpkin soup was particularly pleasant. [on a cold winter's day I could easily be satisfied with a large bowl of this alone for a meal - it was very tasty, mild, but, packed with delicate flavor and of a gentle pureed texture]. We'd opted for some pork-belly and assorted beef to BBQ, as well as some fried kimchi Goyuza and a red-pepper prepared Bimimbap. A full order of the Goyuza could satisfy some for/as a meal and it was accompanied with a light soy-sauce.
Personally I find Korean beer barely to possess any flavor or character as to be entirely uninviting; so a European beer/lager along with a readily refreshed glass of ice-water were my beverage choices for the meal. I also prefer Japanese green or Chinese oolong teas to the most common of Korean teas, e.g., Bori cha {made with barley}, or Heyonmi cha {made with roasted rice}; so, I abstained from the tea offering. However, do try what's on offer - you may like it.
Overall, it was a good dining experience and one of good value [not expensive, all things considered, for what it consisted of - the numerous courses and high standard of service]. Parking is ample on either the west side of the building or behind it on the south-side. There is a terrace for outdoor dinning in suitable weather as well.

We recently visited this restaurant for the first time. The portions were very generous. The wait staff and kitchen staff were very attentive, kind, and accessible. They seemed genuinely interested in ensuring we were satisfied and comfortable. We got a combination platter, very good quality. The star was the beef short rib, which is prepared laboriously in house... We enjoyed all the food and were the only non-Asians there. The interior is nice (and not smoky despite the grilling that goes on there).

WE LOVE this place. The owner is very nice. Telling us his story to why he decided to leave his very lucrative job to own this restaurant.

Food is not only good but, HIGH QUALITY. The rice is out of this world nutritious and delicious.

The food was not only Authentic but also home style. The Mother was in the back cooking and the dishes were clearly made with all the attention and detail that only a home cooked meal could exhibit

The staff was very accommodating and the dishes were adjusted to avoid sea food.

The only disappointment was the Korean beef which was the most expensive dish and the smallest portion. I am not used to this dish being so slight

However if they fix that one short coming the review would be excellent
