Description: "Pantelis" Fish Tavern, has just arrived to make you travel in new horizons of gastronomic delight of the Mediterranean inside Sunday Hotel just by the sea. Our guests will be able to choose among local fresh fish, tratiditionally cooked dishes and especially live lobsters from Antiparos region. Taking direct inspiration from the Aegean Sea, the design features recall the ripple effect of fish scales, fishing nets, pebbles from the local coastline, and reclaimed pine planks which all make for a traditional Greek island feel.

Sunday noon we found ourselves in this beautiful tavern. We first want to thank this tavern for having us. I wanted to try an original seafood course and I asked the waiters if they have a suggestion for me. Their recommendation was indeed great. I had the lobster spaghetti, as it is one of the most famous seafood courses and I really liked it.

The restaurant is located away from the main street of AntiParos, down by the water, creating a more quiet and authentic Greek feel. The tables and chairs are simply placed on the rocks down by the water, where the lanterns create a magic atmosphere. I enjoyed some yummy shrimps saganaki. The 5 Euro house wine actually comes in a bottle (normally you get a carafle). They also have long tables for friends coming together. A nice evening indeed!

Much of the beauty of Antiparos island comes from its small white houses and the blue windows. Dinner at Pantelis Fish Tavern was great because we could take a good look at this beautiful scenery and eat decent food in reasonable prices. Highly recommended the honeymoon shrimps with a sweet and spicy sauce. For seafood we would recommend the orzo seafood. It was delicious!

The view is lovely and one can dine right by the water's edge. Service was good, if a little harassed on a second evening visit when staff were depleted and apparently keen to leave for a wedding celebration. Calamari and fried fish were excellent. Kleftico was tasty, though the lamb had clearly lived a long (and one hopes happy) life. Good house wine. Reasonably priced.

Beautiful simple Greek food. Great atmosphere and wonderful views. The grilled octopus and calamari were our favourite.
