Enjoyed visiting the center and only wished I had more time to watch all the videos. Also nice interpretive walk.

There is so much great information here about the Lewis and Clark Expedition. Of course, this area is Sacagawea's birthplace so everyone is very interested in her as well as in the whole Corps of Discovery. Nice museum, good short movie, beautiful nature trails, knowledgeable volunteers, uncrowded. Only $5, which is a bargain for what you get to see. Easy to get to as it is right down the highway from the town of Salmon. You will need a few hours if you walk the trails. For the museum, an hour will do. In the winter the acreage is fun for XC skiing as well. Located in a beautiful area.

Very nice greeting from the gal at the desk. Reasonable price to tour the building and grounds. Lots of information about Lewis and Clark and Sacagawea. The town of Salmon claims to be her birth place.

We have been interested in visiting this center for sometime now and finally took the time to visit it. Although the center is still developing its collections and capbilities, our visit was quite enjoyable. The short video that is played is very worthwhile to view. Plus the walk around the center along the trails was fun and refreshing.

A very nice tribute to Sacagewea, a true National Hero. Arguably the most important woman ever to our Nation's success. This is a must see if you are interested in the History of the Lewis & Clark Expedition, and or Native American History. Is in a beautiful setting with the Lemhi River running through it. There is a beautiful walking path with Historical Markers throughout the area.
