“Good wines and a fantastic view of vineyards, farmland, and the Boise front and the Owyhee Mountains”
Review of Sawtooth Winery

Sawtooth has some really good wines and the views are fantastic. The current tasting room is located south of Nampa in the middle of some of the vineyards where the grapes are harvested for their wines. Sadly, they are closing that tasting room sometime in the near future (they say the start of 2018) and moving over to the Sunnyslope area. Our family hates to see them move. As of the 2016 harvest the wine production has moved to their sister winery Ste. Chappelle which is a curious move also. We've always liked Sawtooth wines and loved their current location. Hope the move turns out okay but I am doubtful.

This place is kind of in the middle of nowhere but the wines are good, they range from sweet to dry so there is really something for everyone. The winery is pretty with a nice view of the mountains and the staff is fun and easy to talk to.

Situated on a hill that affords a beautiful view of the Treasure Valley, the winery sits on well-maintained grounds that are used to host a variety of functions. The day we visited, a wedding was under way, but we were still able to access the tasting room.

The wines were good, not great (we didn't purchase any), but we received generous pours for our $10 tasting fee. The hostess was friendly and talkative and went out of her way to help us find something we would enjoy.
