We live locally and have eaten here many times. Unfortunately, over the last severeal months they seem to be short staffed. They also have lots of younger individuals working for them and I often worry about the level of work ethic and quality of food prep if there is not some sort of managerial supervision. The last few times we've been in we waited a long time for our food, even when there wasn't a big crowd. And if there is a lot of people dining in, expect a wait time of 20-30 mins for your food. The last time I went with very hungry toddlers and ended up just leaving and going to our fave Mexican restaurant in town.
Other than that, the food is pretty good. Good hot sandwiches and awesome fries. My kids love the mini corn dogs and chicken tenders. They also have the option of getting Gossners (retail store located downstairs) flavored milks instead of a fountain drink. Which are always a hit with the kids!
My favorite soup is the roasted tomato and basil. They serve it with French bread and this amazing herb butter. Although sometimes you may get an over heated tough piece of bread. So beware.
Hopefully they will get some good staff on board to get things operating a little more smoothly.

Ate here on road trip with mom and while the food was good, the ice cream was outstanding! $0.94 for one scoop per person which was plenty. Not sure how people can eat the largest size but nonetheless worth the visit just for dessert!

It's a fairly large bright open place upstairs. You order at the counter, pay, get a number and go sit down after getting your own beverages. Then over comes a waitress, introduces herself and she says she's there for us and is there anything she can do?? We're just sitting there with our own drinks waiting for our food. Then another waitress brings the food over and asks if there is anything we need? We ask for ketchup, the only things on the table are salt and pepper and napkins, so she brings over little take out packets of ketchup. The sandwiches are okay, both the southwest panini my wife has and my roast beef and cheese is okay but the bun is cold and almost stale tasting, more texture than taste. The fries are pretty good they are battered and somewhat crisp, and the cole slaw is okay. Yet another waitress comes over to ask if we are all right. Great friendly service but we were somewhat confused as to what they really do. Average food, friendly folks....

We stayed overnight in the Riverside RV Park and this place came up as the closest restaurant and had good reviews from others. Apparently they have the same menu all the time and it is predominantly soups, sandwiches, and salads. I had the steak and cheese sandwich and it was very good but not huge as some others reported. My wife's soup and salad combo was large enough to require a take out box.
The food was good, nicely prepared, and a definite good value.
