This resort is tucked away in a beautiful area of Georgia that I had not experienced prior to this visit. It sits on a lake that is an absolute jewel, perfect for spectacular sunset pictures! The layout of the units (we had a 2 br/2 ba, one king/two queens) is great and the screened porch off the master calls your name for a morning cup of coffee with a view, if you are lakeside. We only visited the Marina restaurant while there, (although I understand there are two other restaurants in the resort area) but the food was excellent as was the service, and it was casual and laid back. This is the perfect resort for a relaxing vacation and is now my most favorite. It is not designed with children's activities in mind, although there are trails for walking, hiking, biking and of course the lake for boating, but if you are looking for entertainment beyond that, you will need to go to Atlanta or the surrounding area - which is exactly what we were trying to get away from!

A resort for boat lovers and people who want peace and quiet. People who brought everything they can think of that they would need before checking in. All stuff to eat and drink are at least 6 miles away.

We are halfway between Villa Rica and Carrollton where you can find all kind of restaurants and shops. Only 5 minutes away is a Dollar General as well. Our condos are equipped for the whole family to have a great time, in the kitchen and all around. There are two restaurants on site, not open for breakfast, but you can definitely get lunch and dinner if you didn't have time to buy groceries, don't want to cook or don't want to drive. Maybe you will be able to try the marina restaurant next time you come to visit us. Thank you for staying!

If you want to get away from the big city and enjoy a quiet time near water, this is the place. there seemed to be a very vibrant party happening at the marina every night that was nice, food offered seemed to draw a crowd , and was still not overly noisy when the sun went down.

Lovely area, must have a car to get to playground or lake facilities. Golfers may enjoy this property. ,condo is in a gated residential community with private property signs everywhere that limit walking by the lake, no planned activities for kids

We are in a 2,500 acres community and if you choose to take the car to get around you just miss the opportunity to take the sidewalks over to the marina and walk along the dam to the beach with totally unobstructed views, or even the Country Club. From the dam there is also a hiking trail you can take to the recreation center. If anyone is looking for a kindergarten facility, no we don't offer that, this is more a place to connect with the whole family. Beside the nice amenities we have here, there is also so much to do in the area. We hope to see you again, maybe when the pools are open. Thank you for staying with us!

We spent only two restful days en route to Florida. However, now we have discovered this hidden gem, we look forward to planning to spend longer in future. Decor is charming, location a delight, staff and food at the Marine all contributed to a memorable, but too short, a stay.
