Sometimes it is impossible to find a seat in this cafe, but when you do it is worthwhile. On this visit we had coffee and muffins (the best) but on other occasions we have ordered from the small menu located inside the Little Golden Books The food is consistently good but the muffins exceed all expectations and are almost a meal on their own. The flavours (sweet and savoury) change regularly but are so delicious, and the range of homemade cakes is inspiring, with the use of flowers for decorations. The coffee is reliably good and now barista Michael is using delicate cups and saucers for the short macchiatos (such a nice change from glasses which are too hot to hold). The same quality of food and service is also available at their second cafe in Highgate. Spoilt for choice.
