A friend and I visited Palmer’s village café for a birthday celebration. Palmers has a limited menu that changes every two weeks. We decided we wanted 3 courses, Appetizer, salad and entrée,but we wanted to split each course. This was not a problem. Each course was brought out on individual plates not on one plate with the sideplate to share. The shrimp and grits appetizer was the best I have ever had! The combination of flavors the chef puts together is amazing. The pear salad was also very tasty with creamy blue cheese and bacon on the side. Yum! We then had the beef loin with creamed white beans and a corn salad. The beef was cooked to perfection! I cannot remember the last time I enjoyed such an elegant evening. One charming and friendly waitress took care of every table in the small place. The service was excellent. There was a young man who kept our water glasses full and cleared our dishes at just the right moment. All with a smile! A perfect dinner experience.
