This room was GROSS!! 312 @ 2606 Whitesville Road Lagrange,GA. 30240.
We were not intending to have to stay @ a hotel. When plans did not go accordingly we had to look for a place to stay over night. We were in GA. going to wild safari (pine mountain).
We grabbed a hotel coupon book from a gas station newspaper box. the coupon book had a days inn location (supposedly) on the street near the safari reported 185S. exit 42 which was our exit to safari. after not locating it locals sent us an exit back to Lagrange. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and accomidating.
On the other hand the room was definitley gross. We were very tired ,unloaded family and gear ,put up food and got ready to get showers b-4 sleep. OMG! bathtub full of mold, under and around nonskid mat in tub. so..... we had to put towel down over mat to shower. This was way more awful for me because my 6 n 2 yr olds had to use the tub this way. the batroom corners were full of crud and nasty black. the room was full of spider webs and
my husband woke with 2 spider bites. we were not informed that we needed to plug up the refridgearator so we woke to spoiled food in the morning, getting up with bare feet in the night realized the floor between beds was wet. Thought after...This room was GROSS!! 312 @ 2606 Whitesville Road Lagrange,GA. 30240.

Thought after we turned a.c. that maybe smell would go away. We thought room may not have been occupied in awhile. We were WRONG!
Smell stayed and found in morning that rooms 120 -124 (at least) were a mess (from apparent flooding) and were trying to be dried out.
I feel apparently alot of the rooms had been flooded and tried to be dried out. The ones not having major damage still rentd to travelers.
I would have asked for a comp. on the room but honestly just wanted out of there. Also i knew i would NOT stay there again. On other hand i may would use a room in my home town but would inspect before unloading! oh and p.s. full of ants .i guess due to the water damage. Days Inn should do better job who they let franchize under their name.More
