Wonderful and cozy. Perfect cabin and beautiful scenery. Cabin feel but with modern convenience. Great water pressure and a supermarket with a Starbucks very close by. Had a perfect time and I would recommend this place to anyone. Nice that it is farther away from the super touristy areas but super close to landmarks such as Brasstown Bald.

Very nice and serene place to stay. Loved being right on the lake, surrounded by the mountains. Our cabin was very clean and perfect for our family. My kids enjoyed walking along the lake and seeing all of the geese everyday. The fireplace made it nice and warm every night. Very picturesque. We would definitely stay there again.

Stayed for 3 nights this past weekend. Lovely views of Lake Chatuge and bright, comfortable, functional, clean and pleasant cabins. Mel made for an excellent host. We very much enjoyed our stay here. The king size bed was very comfortable and the porch with rockers made a great place to sit and sip wine while enjoying the lake views complete with geese and ducks. We will be back. Also, the kitchen facilities made fixing nice meals at the cabin a snap although there are restaurants in the area, too. Much in the way of national forest and waterfalls within easy drive.

A little hard to find as street sign is small an low to ground . Stayed here for two nights with family members. Cottages 2-4 are all the same setup. Nothing fancy inside no dishwasher, on septic tank, no firewood for fireplace. King bed downstairs an two twins in loft. Tv's are outdated an small did have cable, but Internet didn't work. It is an ok place to stay but would be nice if carpeted floors an updated furniture. Lake view was ok

We just returned from a two-night stay at Serenity Cove. It was wonderful, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for some relaxation. I would also recommend that you stay longer than two nights--it's not long enough! Mel and Terry own the property and do everything they can to make your stay easy and carefree. The cabins offer great views of the lake, and the porches were made for quiet time with coffee in the mornings. (The pictures attached were taken from the porch of cabin 1.) The pontoon rental was a nice bonus, too. The lake has lots of beautiful areas to explore by boat. The town of Hiawassee has everything you need close by, and there are plenty of things to do in the surrounding areas, as well. We plan on returning again soon to enjoy some rest and beautiful scenery.

Room tip: All cabins face the lake.
