The hotel is not cheap. Overpriced is the word. And I think it is the price which rubs people the wrong way. Surely, there is always improvements which can be made. And this place has some potential. We booked this place, because there was not much left on the island. Taking the price out of the equation, I honestly can say, we are the ones who had a good experience here. Having said that, we started from very low expectations. When we arrived, we actually were surprised that it looked better then we expected. From there on, a positive vibe was set. There was not really anything that was wrong. Everything was functional.

The Hotel is located about 30min from the Airport. It can be easily reached by Taxi. It is right on the beach and set in a very relaxed setting. The beach is literally 5m away. It was a good place to chill out. Our room was very clean and ideal for a family. It had a separate room for our daughter. It was top floor with Ocean view. The pool is also worth to mention. It was VERY clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Although at times there is some grumpiness going around. Also worth mentioning, our daughter lost her mobile phone during our stay. After leaving the property it eventually showed up and we got it back. Nice!
During our stay we had an open tap for food and drinks. The final bill was accurate. I would rate our experience as good. Would I stay there again - Yes. But a better deal would be prerequisite.

MS San Luis Village is losing great opportunity to be one of the best hotels in San Andres.
Hotel is poorly maintained. No hot water, bathroom is in very bad conditions and region too noisy.
The service is not great thing too. We have to change room 2 times because our room was not functional, and Hotel staff was not willing to attend our requests. Several other guests were having the same problem.
It seems hotel has no enough resources to run the business.

This hotel has a good location with a nice beach but that is alle the positive things there is to say about this place.
We where charged approx 5.400.000 COP for 9 days in a juniorsuite. This high amount of money does not match the low standards of the hotel.
The staff in the reception were friendly and more or less service minded.
Some of the staff in the hotel restaurant were unfriendly and they were not service minded at all. Everytime we showed up in the restaurant we felt like we were just bothering them, we didn't feel welcome at all. They seemed to be totally uninterested in taking care of the guests. That is not a feeling we as guests in a hotel should have.
In the menu for the restaurant there are quite a few different dishes. But the problem was that the kitchen was only able to make a few of these dishes. They were always missing different ingredients. We stayed in the hotel for 9 days, it was not possible to order any desserts from the menu for one single day......!!!
The lady working in the bar was very friendly and service minded. She was the only one who made us feel welcome in this hotel.
Several times after the housekeeping had been to our room there were missing/ not enough toilet paper. Same thing with towels. The last night in the hotel there were even missing bedsheets...!
After a day with rain water started leaking from the ceiling and down into one of our beds. We informed the manager about this. No action was taken and we didn't receive any further information regarding this. After talking with other guests this kind of problem seemed to be in more rooms in the hotel.
With a proper management this hotel could be a really nice place to spend your holiday. With the present standards and management my recommendation is to spend your money elsewhere if you go to San Andres.

Construction and lots of noise. No day time peace, you must leave hotel during the day for any relaxation. The water in the showers smell awful. For the price points this property is way over priced. Nice staff but the staff can't overcome the downside of this hotel. I'm not one to complain. Save your money and enjoyment choose a different hotel.
