While I typically avoid writing reviews without having visited a business at least twice, KrungThep Tea Time is one of those rare exceptions that is well deserving of an early review.
KrungThep Tea Time is located on Fairbanks, just east of 17-92, near Ward Park (right next to Spatz). Plenty of parking in the rear of the building.
The menu consists of a variety of teas ranging from chai, caramelized pear, blueberry cheesecake, earl grey, jasmine, lychee peach, and many others. Each was priced between $3.00-$3.50. They also offer Thai tea, Thai iced coffee, and several other drinks, similarly priced at $3.00. Each is served in a large mug.
The food offerings consist of signature sandwiches ($7.00-$10.00) and salads. The sandwiches are best described as staple Thai dishes on bread. I went with the recommended Gra-Pow ($9.00) - a delicious combination of chicken, mozzarella, and basil mayo on sourdough bread. My wife went with Pa-Nang ($9.00) - pulled pork with a pa-nang sauce on pumpernickel. All sandwiches come with a small salad with an addictive house sauce. Both the Gra-Pow and Pa-Nang were five star, delicious, and filling for lunch.
Fantastic offerings, friendly staff, and reasonable prices, KrungThep Tea Time is a must visit for anyone seeking a quick lunch or simply a place to relax while sipping on some delicious tea.
