To be fair, I will list the positives first ; they allow dogs and the overnight manager was friendly and helpful. We thought the sheets were soft and pillows comfortable. My room was clean except for stained chairs and surprisingly grimy hairdryer.
Others in our party noticed stained carpet, whiskers on their sink, and a complementary donut hidden under the bed in their rooms.
The first night our fellow guests partied and allowed their children to run and yell in front of our rooms till 11:30 pm. The second night was much quieter. I slept deeply until at 2:30 am the fire alarm penetrated my dreams. It went off for a long time. The fire department came by to check. Not sure why the night manager doesn’t seem to have the key or code to turn off the alarm.
One other discontent was that a whole row of trees had been cut down in front of the property. That left almost no landscaping up front, but the mermaids do add a certain something design-wise.More
