We found this place on Yelp while vacationing at Disney's Vero Beach Resort. If you want authentic Italian food, this is the place. The family had a fantastic meal. We highly recommend it.

Thank you so very much for taking the time to write such a wonderful review. We truly appreciate your support!

Because of your support and effort, we wanted to make sure we communicated some bittersweet news. Maria and Joseph (owners and operators of Bella Napoli) have announced their retirement after 20 years of business in Vero Beach, FL!

Dined at Bella Napoli on a Friday night. The restaurant was busy but we got a table without a reservation. It's very noisy; not a fancy restaurant--a bit outdated as for décor. We had a very pleasant wait person, but never did hear if there were any specials. We ordered veal, which came over (your) choice of pasta, along with a garden salad. My salad, consisting of (limp)greens and 1 small slice of tomato, was swimming in dressing. The entrée, which seemed forever to get, was horrible. The veal, which had been dusted, had also been swimming in sauce or had been sitting a while in liquid (we wondered if it had been boiled instead of fried!)--the flour separated from the meat in your mouth, and when combined with the meat, which had been pounded to death, tasted like eating firmed up mush. The sauce, mine was marsala, had no taste except sweetness--it was very thin and runny, not like most marsala sauces we've had. The mushrooms were sliced so thin you couldn't even stick them onto the fork. As for the pasta, I had spaghetti, which I'm pretty sure wasn't house made. Even the iced tea was yucky. We complained to the wait person to no avail--they brought the bill (around $47 + tip)--we paid in full--we left--don't plan to return.

We were in town and had missed the lunch crowd...we arrived and no one was there, I got a little scared.. It was 2:00pm so the crowds were gone. We both had spaghetti, how could you go wrong. It was delicious.... Bon appétit.. We want to go back for a nice dinner.. Great choices on the menu and the desserts looked very interesting. Hope this turns out to be our special Italian Restaurant in the area. The waiter was fantastic, informative and ever so helpful...

We have been coming to Bella Napoli for the past 5 years. There are many excellent Italian Restaurants in Vero Beach. Bella Napoli is not on of them. However that being said we came here Friday night because we knew we could get in at 6 PM when other restaurants would be totally booked. The restaurant is always cozy, clean and engaging. The smell of cooking garlic when you arrive is always pleasant.

Lisa our waitress was friendly, and efficient. I had Calamari (Squid) sautéed in White garlic sauce, over linguine. 17.95 Pasta was al dente and the Calamari was perfect. Molly had Veal Marsala over pasta, sautéed with mushrooms, prosciutto ham and marsala wine 20.95 This dish was also excellent.

You will never get a bad meal here and can always be seated quickly, never a wait. This restaurant is close to where we live, so convenience is the reason we dine here as often as we do. There just seems that something is missing here. Perhaps the owners aren't as engaging as Bobbie Rose at Amalfie Grill, Dario at Trattoria Dario or Claudia and Val at the Tides. Even the Bone Fish people are more friendly.

It's like going to your Italian "Nona's" house for Sunday dinner. It was all there, freshly made with love. We had "Prosciutto and Melon Appetizer" (sweet and melted in your mouth), "Zuppa di Mussels" (fresh from the ocean), "Veal Picatta" (cut it with a fork tender) and the highlight of the meal (and our trip to Vero) "Veal Saltimbocca " (cooked for 8 hours that day, served on the bone and with tiny fork to savor the marrow). Take your time and enjoy each course with a glass of the house Chianti. Mangia!
