Eminently playable. Either course and at a reasonable rate. The course workers are friendly and helpful.
Unless your looking for upscale you will enjoy Sandridge.

I played this couse for the second time while visiting and had a chance to play the second of two 18's that are available. The pace of play was 4 hours on a busy Saturday, which I thought was excellent. The north 18 has plenty of water so bring plenty of ammunition. The Saturday rate was $25 for 18 and $15 per person for a cart. This is a county course that has above average conditions.

Thought course was a bit rough. Slow greens and the fairways were not cut. Some were cut on the back nine. Waited 25 minutes to check in at 7am. Every senior in the area was there. Pass if you can find better, but very limited public golf in area. Nice area to visit but not for golf.

Played recently on a Tuesday morning as a walk up at 11-00am. Told no problem the course was wide open and no one had gone out since 10.30. So by the time I was ready it was 45 minutes since the last person had started but caught the preceeding group up by the seventh and by the time we got to the 13th there were 4 groups on one hole. The player assistance drove round but did nothing. Tell people to get a move on, ask them to let people to play through, if they see someone playing off the back tees who can only just reach the red tees with a drive tell them to play further forward. Be proactive and speed up the pace of play so everyone enjoys their round. This course has clocks showing you where you should be by a certain time according to your tee off time.Use them, they are there for a reason. Its about time some people were given a lesson in golf etiquette. Keep up with the game in front not just ahead of the game behind> If you cant hit it 200 yards off the tee on a 400 yard hole don't let people get to the green before you play your second or maybe third shot from 200 yards in- you are never going to reach them and when you finally do reach the green and you are still at least another 45 feet from the hole don't start pending and peering from all angles and walking round the hole, you will be lucky if you are 10 feet from the hols after one put. Just get on with it. A really nice course though in good condition for this time of year but a little limited in the food and beverage dept. Signs all over saying only food and drink bought on the premises to be consumed. Own coolers not allowed but not a cart girl in sight all the way round.
