This museum is just beautiful in a beautiful setting. The atrium is fabulous. I recommend taking the docent tour. Our guide, Mary, was well informed and delightful. We came to see The Maurice Sendak exhibit. It’s a comprehensive look at the art work for Where the Wild Things Are. There are many surprising treasures included in the exhibit especially drawings of scenes in Macbeth that Sendak did at the age of 16 for an English class. They are remarkable.
The other galleries had good exhibits. While we were there we noticed that a French film was being shown in the auditorium as part of their film festival. Seemed to be very well attended.
An excellent place to stop if you are in Vero Beach. Good for children as well as adults.
