We were looking for a close place to get away a few times a year and this will
definately be the place. This resort is just as stated. We spent most of our time
fishing at their dock on the Intercoastal. The resort is a short walk from several
restaurants, a lounge, and some shops.

My wife and I stayed for 1 week Sept 5 thru Sept 12th. First night in room 119 above the office...Nice room... The rest of the stay was in 108 bottom floor, waterfront.. Great view.
She would go out buy the dock and catch the Dolfins playing..almost every morning.
The staff was great.. Deborah with the cute Accent was very nice and helpful.. We did some fishing off of the dock..We didn't really do very good there..but I did catch a Small
hammerhead shark the last time we stayed there..a couple of years back..
We highly recomend the Malyn, and our nect trip back that is where we will stay, Hopfully
room 108 will be available...Thanks so much Deborah for the hospitality..

We've stayed at the Malyn a number of times, and love the low key relaxed mood it offers. It's within walking distance of many restaurants, pubs, shopping and the beach. The dock is a nice place to watch the stars and the twinkling lights up and down the Intercoastal, and the tiki hut is a great hangout when you're grilling or picnicking. The condos are decorated differently in each one, we have enjoyed all we have staye in. Our most recent trip, for our 25th anniversary, was the definition of R&R - and exactly what we were looking for! Thanks to the very friendly, welcoming managers, too!

This was my first trip to the Tampa area. My step daughter, her friend, her friend's mother and I enjoyed ourselves immensely at Malyn. The staff was very friendly and always happy to answer questions about the area, transportation and what we should not miss during our stay. We really enjoyed late night swimming, dinner outdoors in the cabana, and the benefit of having a full kitchen and grill for delicious meals. We plan on making our "Girls Week Away" an annual event and know we can rely on comfort at Malyn

We recently discovered that the Malyn Resort is the real treasure on Treasure Island. We found this family-friendly resort to be the ideal vacation spot for young and old alike. Although all the units at the Malyn are clean and tastefully decorated, we were especially impressed with the location and amenities we found in #105. The brightly decorated one bedroom unit not only featured a lovely breakfast bar, but was located poolside with only a few steps to beautiful Boca Ciege Bay. As others have noted, the physical location of the Malyn Resort is off the beaten path, but within easy walking distance to the beach and many nice restaurants. The popular John's Pass Village and Boardwalk featuring yet more restaurants and many unique shops is only a short drive from the Malyn as well. There is much to love about this resort, but one of the best parts is the on-site management team, Deborah and Royal. While their hard work and attention to detail is evident throughout the complex, their willingness to ensure the comfort of their guests is obviously their top priority. Our vist to the modestly priced Malyn Resort was positive in every way.
