I travel the US extensively and stay in Hilton Properties exclusively. I have been in better and worse properties. This is not a bad hotel, they just have too many "little issues". First, this was one of the most uncomfortable beds I have slept in. I thought that HGI had gotten rid of the "dial-a-bed" soft to hard mattress, but I was wrong. Terrible mattress.
The property is getting old. They really need to consider an upgrade. The furniture is really showing some age/use.
The iron was broken. The staff was extremely helpful and got another to me very quickly; however, that one did not work well either. Just another small frustration.
There was no hot water this morning. Yes, it was early and yes they corrected the issue, but that created another delay.
The phone in my room (at the desk) didn't work. Not the end of the world, but I had to walk downstairs vs calling the front desk. Sure, I can always use the exercise, but it is the small issues that create bigger problems.
Again, this is not a bad property. They just need some attention to details and please change the mattresses.More
