Cannot believe no one has yet reviewed the restaurant. The restaurant itself is a nondescript Lille place at one end of the strip mall at rt 441 and 110 st in Belleview. But glance at the menu and you are in another world. Most of the food items are unrecognizable. But every item on the menu is delicious. We have tried almost all of them. Only thing that sounds like you know what it is, is the fried rice. They call it Chaufa. That's because of the Chinese influence in Peru. Names like Tacu Tacu, and Tallarin sound off putting, but are wonderful versions of a wonderful thick rice and bean pancake with a stir fry shrimp sauce or spaghetti with delicious sauces. The owner/waitress will explain each of the dishes. She is super nice, and as I said, all the dishes are wonderful. They even have calimari and know how to cook it. Go there for dinner or lunch(most meals $9.95, but not as much food and fewer choices). You will not regret it. Place is small and gets fairly busy after 5:00pm. So try reservation, early dinner or lunch.
