Friends highly recommended this restaurant and their lasagna. We decided to try it, not one of our better decisions. Restaurant is dark, in dire need of a major update, wait staff standing around the bar area visiting with each other, we were told to sit anywhere--were not even shown to a table/booth, no nothing. Salad was small and under dressed, soup's only flavor was celery, lasagna was terrible--marinara sause was not homemade, it was so acidic it gave me the burpies, little to no Italian flavoring and almost no Italian sausage. Linguini and meatballs were not much better. Linguini was dry, almost no sauce, and the 2 meatballs were dry and serving size was small for the price. Oh well, nothing ventured, nothing learned, we learned we will not return.

From the greeting at the door: "Are you here for pick up or to eat here?"(It was 8pm and obviously the staff were anxious to close. Girls sitting at the bar counting tips. Servers sitting at a table while ignoring us.) I wanted veal picatta but no veal. Chicken picatta was a very poor version of an Italian dish. Maybe you should stick with pizza. BTW, the floor was filthy. We won't be back.

The salad was fresh and tasty, but small. We ordered their Guido's Special and it was truly a thin crispy almost burnt crust. There were many toppings but not a lot of flavor. We have had better....

We always order "Guido's Special" small, with pineapple. Also a small salad with blue cheese and a drink. The service is always good and the pizza is excellent. In the winter season it is good to call for a reservation. We try to go often..
