My family and I have been coming for years to this lovely hotel. Poppy and her husband, as well the restaurant in the front (same family) are the nicest people and that is really understated. The rooms are lovely, the views facing the ocean are super, the simplicity of the decor is tasteful, and the price is really very affordable. The breakfast in the back yard stays with you year around, and you cannot move yourself from the comfort of the place to start your day. When you do, the beach is a 3 minute walk, completed with all the amenities (umbrellas, beds, chairs, food delivery). Paradise on earth.

Room Tip: facing the ocean, second floor

We came back after 19 years and enjoyed everything: breakfast, accomodation, taverna. They are all special people! Many thanks to Yiorgos, who helped us a lot at the departure. The beach is beautiful, the water is crystal clear and hot. We'll be back soon.

From the moment we stepped off the ferry, we fell in love with little Agistri! This island is truly a hidden gem. There was a public bus waiting right at the pier so we got on along with everyone else. The first stop was actually right in front of the Saronis Hotel. This hotel is superbly located, just walked to the right, or the left, a couple of minutes and you are at a beautiful beach! The water is crystal clear, calm and perfect for swimming. The hotel itself is very charming, clean, and offers the best breakfast. We really appreciated that everything was homemade; the bread, fresh squeezed orange juice, apple cake, and ham and cheese phyllo pie were the offerings of the day. We arrived very early for check-in and Popi took great care of us - making us a cappuccino in the charming garden area while she readied a first floor room (our choice) for us quickly. Our only regret was that we only had one night, and we are already fantasizing about when we can return for a longer trip! As we made our way back to the pier for our return ferry trip to Athens, Popi came after us on our scooter and told her we had come to the wrong pier! Travelers, be aware, the pier you arrive it, is not always the pier to depart from! She helped us get to our ferry on time, calling one of only 2 taxis on the island who delivered us promptly to the correct pier. THANK YOU SO MUCH POPI!!!

Comfortable and friendly, very clean, nice and close to Skala stores, beach, etc. Gave us a kettle for room upon request. Shower takes getting used to, as no surround and difficult not to get room wet!
Breakfast generous and well cooked. I would have preferred a fruit and cereal option (but that is just me).
A good value option for Agistri.

The bedroom is of adequate size, clean and tastefully decorated with plenty of storage space and a small balcony. The bathroom is somewhat cramped with only a shower without a curtain so some care is needed not to flood the floor!
The inclusive breakfast is superb, as others have noted, with homemade orange juice and jam and bacon and eggs or an omelette as well - enough to keep you going until supper!
Staff are very helpful and welcoming.
