We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here at this wonderful Eco accommodation! Lived up to our expectations as we'd seen this accommodation on another trip and thought it looked good enough to check out on this trip! We loved the location across from the beach where we took walks every evening and handy to the only shop on the island.
We loved how spacious and comfortable this place was as well as all the little extras, Breakfast every morning always good to look forward too and the bottle of complimentary wine on arrival!
Plenty of fresh towels and toiletries everyday! Small touches that mean a lot when travelling and staying in a place for a couple of days.
We loved how quiet and private it was, comfortable and every evening the place was warm we didn't even need the heating or air con on. Easy to find as well. Ericka and Peter run a very good business and I can see it means a lot to them to run it well with all the extras and comforts they provide!
We loved our time here on our Bruny Island experience, a great place to explore and hike and swim! Great food and places to visit and always friendly people!!

Room Tip: all Dome eco accommodation is great

We stayed for one night at 43 Degrees South at Quiet Corner at Adventure Bay with another couple during our two week Tasmanian Tour. The room were very comfortable. The room amenities were very good, but the shower in the bathroom wasn’t a great design, requiring you to kneel on the floor of the spa to get under the flow, or stand and hold the shower head, which resulted in water going everywhere as there was little screening. The lovely garden was appreciated including the resident wallaby and joey. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was also enjoyable.

Hi Tony,
Thank you for your review and choosing to stay with us on beautiful Bruny Island. 43 Degrees has 3 levels of accommodation ranging from "Luxury Waterfront Suite Apartments" overlooking beautiful Adventure Bay Beach featuring large freestanding handmade stone baths and natural stone walled showers, our "Spa Suite Apartments" located within 50m of Adventure Bay beach which feature freestanding black spa baths and timber lined showers to our "Studio Spa Apartments" which include feature Corner Spa Baths (no showers) of which you booked. For this reason the hand held rose of which you mentioned is not at all intended as a shower .. hence your difficulty. Apologies for your confusion. Kind Regards 43 Degrees Bruny Island.

We think this is the best place to stay on Bruny Island. We had Waterfront Apartment no 1 which is private, with gorgeous water views, and right opposite the jetty for easy access to the Bruny Island cruises (ask for the accommodation and cruise package, it's good value, and the cruise is a must).

The apartment had a very well-equipped kitchen , and a well stocked mini bar with a good variety of products. A complimentary bottle of decent wine was a welcome touch. There is a good large shower and in a separate room a lavish bath which looks stunning, but which we did not use because we were concerned about wasting water in an area where supplies are limited. The bed was comfortable, and the clothes rack provided in lieu of a wardrobe was surprisingly practical.

Decor style shows Asian influences with some country style thrown in. There is a long bar off the kitchen doing double duty for dining. It is a really effective use of space, and had the advantage of the views. Our only issue was with the bar stools which were clunky and heavy, not easy to move around and not very comfortable.

The continental style breakfast delivered daily was a very pleasant surprise on an island where there are few shops. The focaccia and croissants were fresh and warm, and came with plenty of condiments, and a fruit and nut slice.

Erika and Peter were very pleasant and efficient, and any queries or requests were dealt with promptly. We can highly recommend 43 Degrees as the place to stay for a Bruny Island experience.

Room Tip: Waterfront Aaprtment no 1 for privacy, space, views and access to jetty.

Enjoyed our stay at 43 Degrees. Excellent comforts whilst being eco friendly, breakfast brought each morning was delicious, good views over Adventure Bay from Unit 1 or 2, and convenient location. Hosts were helpful without being intrusive.

Loved this accommodation. We appreciated the complimentary bottle of wine and the fact that they had bbq on the deck. Almost perfect but the shower was odd. The bathroom is huge and the spa bath is also huge. The only problem is that the shower head is positioned so low you really have to hold it in your hand. Another hook further up the wall would help with this. Other than that a really great stay.

Room Tip: Try the sausage rolls or the wallaby pie at the dock on Bruny Island side. Best sausage roll I've had in my life, cooked on the premises.
