Last minute birthday weekend was met with super accommodating staff. GREAT LOCATION! The entire place is GREAT for Families! Friends! Reunions! Family Get Togethers! We are planning multiple trips back with family and friends because we of the location, nearby restaurants, bars, amenities - excellent!

Room Tip: Balcony facing rooms are best. Swimming Pool rooms get you near the beachside bar, and pool can be a little louder late.

We haven’t stayed at Postcard yet, our reservation isn’t until October, but I wanted to review my experience right away. There was some confusion between Booking.com and Postcard, and I called Postcard this morning to resolve it. Todd helped resolve everything! I was in tears thinking we were going to have to cancel our vacation, and Todd was able to help with EVERYTHING. Amazing customer service and just in general, a great interaction. Thank you Postcard Inn, and thank you so much Todd!

We were told we would have to pay a $30 a day fee to use their services. I was like !? This rubbed us wrong from the beginning and gets worse. 1st day we got half off appetizers during happy hour. 2nd day they said we don't do that anymore. I show them our hotel brochure that states it and still get the same answer and i tell them its false advertising. Lady shrugs her shoulders.
They tried telling us coolers were not allowed on the beach. I refuted their answer and took mine out anyway bc there is no law that states i i cant have a cooler out there. They do this to push you to buy their alcohol. We were also told to not set our chairs up on the beach in front of their rental chairs/umbrellas. We did anyway bc we were already frustrated by all the other mentioned stuff by this point. If you have kids, dont come here especially. Its a party-type crowd environment. This place has a LOT going for it (beautiful courtyard, pool, bar by the beach), but falls super short on management. Oh by the way, brochure states if we didnt use daily house keeping, we would receive $5 per day off their food/drinks. Do you think that happened!?

Thank you for taking time to share your feedback with us. Like most of the properties on St. Pete beach we do have a resort fee which is clearly disclosed during the booking process and online. I apologize if you were not aware of this but it includes many items with parking and wi-fi as two of biggest our guests enjoy.

We did change our happy hour specials recently and missed pulling the brochure from some of our guest rooms. We honored this when it was brought to our attention and apologize for any confusion. This has been rectified now.

In reference to the coolers, this is from the direction of local law enforcement. Alcohol on the beach is illegal and our liquor licence is in jeopardy when guests bring alcohol on the beach. Not to mention glass is illegal as well and many people will bring this in their coolers as well. The Sheriff's are constantly patrolling the beach and if you are caught it is an expensive fine and could be trespassed as well.

We do have a program we call surf green. If you decide to opt into this program by placing the door hanger on your door by 2 am, we slide a voucher under the door for $5 off at any of our outlets. This helps the environment by conserving energy, water, chemicals etc.Very similar to what most of the major brand hotels are doing now. We have found that some guests read this and put their do not disturb sign on the door instead of the surf green sign. If this is brought to our attention we have honored it.

I apologize for any confusion regarding your recent stay with us and hope you will reach out directly to me the next time your int he area so I can ensure a great experience with us.

Sincerely,
Bryan C.

This place is an old motel that is redone but they did a great job of revamping it with what they had. Their rooms are just ok but the outside area is great.

Great pool, great drinks at their pool bar (as there are some bad frozen drinks around this location) and a great beach.

Recommend this location for a great value as the rooms are just ok, but it’s like Vegas where you shouldn’t be in your room much as a lot to do outside.

They will blatantly lie to you that your leashed pet is allowed on the beach over the phone to get you to pay up, then break the news when it’s too late to cancel OR get the $150 food and drink hold back.

Never would have stayed here if they hadn’t outright lied.

We appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback with us. I sincerely apologize for the central reservations line to give you this incorrect information. We have addressed this with them accordingly and don't anticipate any future issues. We are an extremely pet friendly property but local city ordinance number 14-35 which has been in place for a long time prevents pets from being anywhere on St. Pete Beach. I assure you this was not intentional but nonetheless we are very sorry. Please let me know the next time your in the area and we can take special care of your pet and add them to our PCI family posting wall!

Sincerely,
Bryan C.
