Description: Cafe Soleil French Bakery & Deli and owner Lauren Chezaud-Diot bring an international taste to St. Pete Beach. From the moment you walk into this vintage Paris style cafe the fresh aromas of French breads and pastries tantalize your taste buds. Enjoy French traditional breakfast or lunch with a variety of fresh roasted espresso or glass of tea to add to the delight of the day. We have a unique taste that must be experienced, you'll return again and again and find something new with every visit.

This is a great little coffee/pastry shop. Everyone was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The pastries were excellent and the breakfast croissant was amazing.

What a lovely experience we had at Cafe Soleil!! With delicious French croissants/pastries and super friendly staff like Mary and Patrick, I cannot say enough about this local gem. Mary was outgoing and sweet, bright eyed at 8 am when we walked in. She gave our 2 year old Eiffel tower stickers and offered us suggestions on food items. We had breakfast croissant sandwiches and amazing cherry + cheese and chocolate pastries just like we had in Paris. This place is why you should support local businesses!

This is a very nice French Bakery with excellent bread and croissants. There is a good selection of sandwiches and salads as well. The coffee is fantastic, either iced or hot. The staff is friendly and helpful.

This place literally saved our family vacation from the UK! Found this cafe by pure chance on the second morning of our holiday in Florida. We had planned to travel South from Tampa but Mary ?? told us about the algae blooms affecting much of the coastline south of Sarasota. She advised us where to go that wasn't affected (and where to eat) and we had the best holiday ever!

As for the actual cafe itself, it's clean, petite & bijou. The croissants & pastries are to die for. The lemon fan & almond pastries were delicious, all cooked fresh. And the kids declared the hot chocolate to be the best they've ever had, my wife also loved her salad. The staff were so friendly and welcoming and recognized us when we made a point of returning on the last day of our trip. The menu isn't vast but that means they excel at what they do serve and so it's better for it.

If we ever return to St. Pete's I pray that Cafe Soleil is still here, it's a real credit to the town.Thank you.

Yummy, casual and friendly, this little coffee shop hits the spot. The fresh baked goods smell divine - and live up to the anticipation. The baristas are friendly and chatty. It feels like your neighborhood bakery, even when you are 400 miles from home.
