Description: The Flying Bridge is quintessential Florida dining. From its origins as an authentic cracker cottage - the simple architectural style of the state's first settlers - to the fresh grouper sandwiches of its kitchen, the restaurant serves up an experience that you can't find outside of the Sunshine State. In warm weather, the restaurant's open-air feel gives you fresh gulf breezes and spectacular views of the beach with our meandering waterway running right beneath you. The all-day menu features a wide range of appetizers, salads, burgers, chicken and fresh seafood sandwiches. In the evenings, The Flying Bridge's extensive menu expands to include even more items, including fresh salmon, grouper, shrimp and other heavier dinner selections that you can enjoy while you watch the sun set over the horizon.

Reasonable prices with lots of options for everyone. I had the shrimp brochette which was fantastic along with a side of fruit. My husband had the chicken quesadilla lunch special which he said was good. Good service too. Would eat here again.

We ate at many sea food restaurants in Boston and Cape Cod. The taste wasn’t the best, but the prices were. Good service and very good view.

The drinks we ordered at the Flying Bridge were great, service was super but the conch fritters were awful. Mushy lumps of breading with very little conch meat in them.

@bluegreenvacations at Trade Winds Island Resort on St. Pete Beach. We are in 21 Century and as far as I understand the city rules for glass by the beach, this is completely a turn off. You can serve the same wine glass in a proper “plastic” wine glass and not in a standard plastic cup. Which it is not appealing at all!
