My husband and I have lived in St. Augustine for years, driven by the Giggling Gator many times, and have never stopped by. We're so glad we finally did. This is a dive bar at its finest: cheap drinks, a couple pool tables, darts, and nice employees. They also serve appetizers such as fries and chicken wings. We had a great time. Each game of pool costs $1.00, except on Mondays, when it's free. Smoking is allowed in the bar, and restrooms are clean. Just a cool local bar when a great atmosphere.

Always have a fantastic time visiting the Gator when we’re in town! Great drink prices and friendly staff. You’ve got to try their chicken wings! Pool table, darts, live music, and always a blast!

We have been to Saint Augustine several times, but we had somehow missed this place. its a little off the main part of town, we stopped in next door for a hamburger and just popped in for a drink on the way out. We instantly felt at home , dark?, smoky, yes!
Jukebox, pool table, college football on the T.V. and cheap beer , had a wonderful time.
Its now on our list of places to stop every time we are in town, it should be on yours too.

We ran into here to shelter from the pouring rain whilst walking down to St. A Distillery. The bar was dark with a dart board, pool tables and football on TV. Together with the permitted smoking, it brought back many happy memories of US bars and UK pubs from yesteryear.

Don't think this is a rough bar. It's DEFINITELY NOT. The customer base was mixed and like the bartender, Will, was extremely friendly and helpful. The toilets are clean and the bar furniture is modern and comfortable.

A wide range of cold draft beer is available as well as a selection of wine and spirits/liquor.

What was meant to be a swift pint whilst the rain passed turned into a thoroughly enjoyable long afternoon in this bar. My wife and I got talking to a fantastic local couple and not surprising to say, we never made it to the Distillery that day.

Tip 1: Smoking is allowed inside here.

Tip 2: The food looks great and I believe that self-serve hot dogs are available during ball games.

Tip 3: It's central to all the attractions such as the College, Museum, Distillery, etc.

Tip 4: Small free car park out front.

Tip 5: Free Wifi available to book that Über ride home!!!

This is a joint. Period. You can play pool and hang at the bar and BS with locals. It's very low key and inexpensive. Stopped by for drinks: for a chardonnay and a Yuengling draft it was $6.50.... Nuff said.
