“Disappointed with food and atmosphere”
Reviewed 22 January 2012

Went today for Sunday brunch with 4 other people including 2 children. We were seated in a corner where only 2 people got an ocean view. If they did it because we had children with us, shame on them. Our 2 girls were perfectly behaved and were not as noisy as some of the adults at other tables. The food was average and nothing that would get an excellent review. We will not go back, with or without children.

What a wonderful view to enjoy over some great shrimp starters & steaks. Good wine list, & yummy desserts. We go there with friends for birthdays & more special occasions. Staff always attentive & the setting sun is just the cherry on top of the cake!

“Just OK”
Reviewed 11 January 2012

The atmosphere could be better considering they are right on the ocean. Brunch is good but the rest of the menu is just ok

“Awsome senic view - great start to the Christmas season.”
Reviewed 29 December 2011

This iwas a perfect choice for our family get together on Xmas eve. The only thing I had plan on making for Christmas dinner was reservations, and this was great. Firstly and foremost the location was great nice oeanc view, a bit windy. Everyone was in the hoilday mood, nice band playing in the background. However the service was quite slow for a holiday sitting, We made reservation thur open table, so they knew how many were in our party. It took about 15 to 20 mins for the waiter to get back to our table to check if we needed anyhing else. (Douglas was a jewel when he did return). Once we all order and the food started to arrive we were quite please.

I order the Zarzuela which was great, I will also recommend the roast duck and belive it or not the Jambalaya was very tasty. I was not to thrilled by the conch fritters a little bready, but the Calamari made up for it as well as the coconut shrimp and spinach & artichoke dip.
After a nice early evening we headed downtown to enjoy the famous "Night of Lights" Which is a perfect ending to a great meal.

We will most definitly return and make this our hoilday retreat.
Happy Hoildays to the "Staff and Santa serving at the Bar"

“Prime Rib and ocean view”
Reviewed 29 December 2011

The food at the reef is a bit above average. It is a pleasant restaurant with a decent if unimaginative menu Prime rib is always good.

Ask for a window table so you can see the ocean. The staff is very nice and the bartender is a real professional.
