We enjoy eating in this simple restaurant with excellent food. We love the vegetables- okra, greens, rutabagas, baked sweet potatoes and corn casserole. They always have Southern fried chicken which I like. They have fried catfish and occasionally, barbecue ribs, smoked chicken and meat loaf. The freshly baked rolls are good. So is the corn bread. There is a salad bar and two pots of soup at all times. There are lots of choices. The freshly- baked pies, ice cream and cakes are free with dinner or lunch. Service is fast snd friendly. It is very busy at lunch on Saturday and Sunday. It is worth the wait.
