We stayed in 502 East. This unit was very nice and well equipped. The owner also left the key for the storage closet where we found beach chairs, an umbrella, tent canopy and various beach toys. The condo was very quiet and the common areas were really nice. The pool area was beautiful, a setting you would expect to find in Hawaii. We have stayed in several condo in Perdido Key and I would have to say Eden is our favorite.

We have been visiting this area for twenty years. We have stayed in quite a few different complexes. Eden is usually our favorite. We like all the amenities. We stayed in E204 this time. This unit needs a maintenance overhaul. The unit has a new kitchen, cabinets/tops and appliances. However the cooking utensils, skillets and pans were disgusting. I bought new ones for my own use since we were staying over two weeks. There was no cutting board to be found. The carpet is badly stained and needs an intense cleaning or replacement. The sliding glass door handle was so rusty it fell off in my hand. The entry door stuck every time we tried to enter the unit and needed a not so gentle shoulder push to open it. Other than the kitchen, the unit appears to be original everything, paint, lights, etc... from the first date of construction, back in the late seventies. We could not close the blinds as they were destroyed. Upon arriving to this unit there was used bar soap in the soap dishes in two of the baths. The bar glasses went straight to the dishwasher, they were filthy. There are nicer units in this complex to rent.

We spent one week at the Eden Condominiums in August. The place is simply gorgeous! We spent our time between the beach and the pool, and came home from our vacation more relaxed than we thought possible. We were booked into a beautiful unit as well -- W603. Beautiful tile floors, terrific kitchen, and great furnishings. We could not have been happier. We were also very happy with Eden's location. While the condo is set on a very quiet strip on Perdido Key, you're just 10 minutes from all the activities, dining, and shops you could want. It really is the best of both worlds, and I highly recommend Eden and W603.

We stayed on the west side of Eden from May 3rd to the 10th. What a beautiful place! We had never been to the west/gulf coast of Florida and we were so surprised at how wide the beach is. Our view from the balcony was wonderful. The staff was extremely helpful. There are a few supermarkets and seafood stores nearby to stock up your fridge. We loved walking the beach and spending time at the pool. As for places to eat, we ventured over to Orange Beach, AL to the "Wharf". There are plenty of restaurants and shopping there. We have re-booked for 10 days in 2009 and would definitely recommend Eden.

We stayed at the Eden from 5/18-5/26. And I have to say the property is VERY NICE. The pool was great with the waterfalls. And the ocean is beautiful. But. For the money we spent I was somewhat disappointed in a few things. We had a terrace room on the East side and tho the terrace was AMAZING, the room was not. The bedrooms had VERY uncomfortable beds and dollar store sheets. The master bedroom only had a double bed and the king size bed was in the kids room. Both were hard!
Also, the master room blinds had broken peices on them so we could never fully shut them. We had to sleep in the kids room a few nights just to have dark.
I have stayed here before and the condo I had on the west side was very modern and comfortable. This one on the east side again, was kind of outdated. And to pay extra for the terrace would have been well worth it, if we had any kind of comfortable seating outside either. Plastic rockers. No bar stool type chairs to look out over ocean. Just kind of disappointing. I realize every room can't please every person, but I think the owners really need to make these an effort to at least make sure the units have comfortable bedding.
And when asked if we could change, or course, we could not. So, we made do and ended up having a great time. But I won't pay the money for this room again. Ill definately go back to the Eden tho. Also, people SAVE chairs at the pool with towels all day. That is SO RUDE.
