I mean what could I say I'm use to false advertisement but the condo we were giving was not close to the beach I was in the villa property it was about 5 minutes walking distance from it though so no worries otherwise I enjoyed everything about the property from the front door to the patio beautiful scenery from patio in the morning, heated pool, washer and dryer, microwave, stove, fridge(full size), dishwasher utensils (pots, pans, glasses, spoons, etc.) king size bed, sofa bed, lamps galore for lighting, tiles in bathroom ceiling were old you can tell it was water damaged but not a bother to me...overall the resort was very nice to me didn't utilize the free golf trial nor the gym. This property is in route about 5-10 mins to everything we had hope for mainly walmart(hey you're bound to forget something)!!! At check out the young lady was very talkative and that's a plus for me the other girl who look as if she was in training needs more customer service equitte she didn't seem to friendly but check in was a breeze even though no one introduced themselves as staff but that's ok it's not a big deal they didn't even explain nothin about the city nor the location of anything (googled & mapped) we will be staying again real soon come September!!!
First, let me say that I did not get my receipt with the access code for the room until the next day after we checked in. We had to call the telephone number to get the access code. The rooms were large enough, but the furnishing were a bit dated. The air in the front bedroom did not keep the room as cool as the rest of the condo. But, with the fan, the room was liveable. In the tidewater resort, the elevators during the day were atrocious. Between 9pm and 7am, they were OK, but during regular daylight hours, the wait could be between 10-20 minutes and at one time, they got stuck...yikes. OK, back to the room. When we got there, my brother and sister-in-law found dried "puke" on the comforter in their room. We also found long hairs on the sheets in that same room. We called maintenance and then stripped the bed. We had to take a sheet from the second bed so they would have something to sleep on the first night. Maintenance showed up the next morning and brought new sheets and comforter along with a blanket for the roll-out that did not exist the first night. The kids had to huddle under sheets and towels the first night. But after the maintenance showed up and brought the spares, all was well after that as far as sleeping arrangements. It did make us leery about the overall cleanliness of the entire condo though. But we just chose to chalk it up to an overlook. In the spare room, I found 2 bikinis that were left in the drawers and not removed before our arrival. Again, thinking not a very good cleaning, but just had to overlook. We did use the beach chairs, but you have to get out there pretty early in the morning to get a decent one. But I get up early anyway. We did not use most of the other amenities in the Tidewater. We spent more time out in town. One of the things that they told us was that we would need to wear armbands the entire time there and we were given these temporary bands to wear. They were not removable and we did not want to wear them full-time like we were told, so we just kept them in a bag to show the onsite personnel. We did have issues the very first night with kids targeting us from above with water on the balcony and also the condo directly above us was playing music very loud and we had to go and handle the situation ourselves. A little unnerving to say the least. If we had been on a higher floor, the elevators would have probably been worse. As far as onsite amenities, the restaurant in the condo, way overpriced for the food. You will do better to eat out for the price. If you are going to pay those kind of prices, go to a nice restaurant a get a nice meal, not pay a huge price for a cheeseburger and chicken fingers. Also, the night before checkout, we were trying to pre-pack/pre-load and the elevators in the parking deck were shutdown. I will say that one thing that worked the entire time for us was the internet. Others, I hear, had a lot of difficulty with it. The balcony in the condo was not huge, but OK. The patio furniture was old and had some rust on it, but that is probably due to being beach front, but I would have expected better for the price paid. Might have been our location, not sure. For the price I paid, well let me say it this way....I have paid a lot less for a lot more.

The location was great. It was clean. The beach was awesome. It was listed as good for 6 so we brought my sister and her son, they had to sleep on the pull out and it was awful. Not enough blankets for the pull out either. The toaster is going to start a fire. We did enjoy our stay very much considering but would probably stay elsewhere
