My friend and I booked this hotel as it was one of the only affordable options for the Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona race weekend. The hotel is in a quieter stretch of beach, and across the street there is an abandoned strip mall, but overall it felt quite safe and more than comfortable enough for a couple nights' stay. My friend parked his car across the street, as parking is limited in the hotel lot, and fared just fine.
The beach access is great, just a few steps from the hotel, though we didn't utilize it as much. The room was kept very clean and was more than enough for us. Service at the front desk was excellent and a very modest breakfast (which we skipped) was available.More
