We stayed here for two weeks over Easter , The staff are very helpful and nothing was to much trouble for them , We were delayed getting home due to the volcano going pop so we went back to the hotel and they could not do enough to help . We stayed for an extra nine nights ( it was great )
Great location for all the parks, Great place for families , Food in the bamboo grill was pretty good and reasonably priced , The deli was also very good if you just wanted a pizza or sandwich .
You cannot go wrong if you stay at this hotel we will certainly be going back next year

The volcano situation was a difficult time for so many. It was our pleasure to make your stay as comfortable as possible during such a difficult time. Thank you for the wonderful recommendation and the kind words regarding our staff. We are truly proud of the work they do for our guests. We look forward to your return next year!

This is the best hotel i have ever been to. the staff are very friendly to kids and adults they try there best to help you i give this 110% for sure because tthe quality of the room is outstanding and the beds are just so confitable. there are 3 swimming pools 2 for families and 1 for adults plus 1 juciz ( sorry for spelling) and a mini putting green, laundry room ( take quarters for the washing mashine if doing laundry) a gift shop and there is a place where you can buy tickets for disney world universal&island of adventure and sea world and aquatica and a bar next the swimming pool but got to Max's to buy drinks because it is cheaper or go to the shop across the road. i also recommend the villange in family restraunt across the road and are the most nicest people there :D and it is slice of pie free wednesday and it is alot cheaper than the ones at the hotel and just say if you have a car that it does not fair to pay because it never said in the broucher and the want a $50 per night incase you break something just say i only want to pay for to night. would recomend if have wild children :L

Hope i helped you :D:D:Dxxxxxx

The hassle all started in February,2010 when I booked my room for a special event being held at this hotel resort. The room rate that was honored for this special event was $79 a night with Free High Speed Internet. At the time of booking my reservation, none of the people at the front desk knew of this special rate thus having me book my reservation for $111.42 a night as they told me that is the cheapest available. I booked my reservation only to find out just 2 hours after that those people at the front desk were briefed of a special event coming up in April and to honor the price of $79 as one of my friends happened to booked his reservation and was granted the $79/night room rate. I proceeded right after he got his reservation finalized to dispute my room rate as I was charged a different rate than the rate I wanted. I was declined that discount to be charged back to my credit card as I was told to wait till the day of arrival to talk with the person in charge. I did not get any Comp back until the 2nd day into my stay as I was given a $60 room credit to be used towards food and other amenities at the hotel. I requested for money as I needed the money badly so I had to settle for the room credit. That $60 did not last long at all as my girlfriend and I only got 2 Pizza Hut Express pizzas and 2 drinks and made 1 localized phone call that alone cost $14 for just 3 minutes when in fact its free for 20 minutes. And ever since when did a Toll-Free call cost? Cost me $12 just to call up the airline to change my flight and talk to an agent for 5 minutes. I also mentioned earlier "Free High Speed Internet" which is definitely a scam as it cost $10 a day for internet where the speeds at most times were slower than dial-up.

The location and sleep quality does match pretty well in this review as Thursday Night was peaceful; however, Friday and Saturday night was as loud as going to a football game. The pool was open way beyond the time posted and they were many people partying as I had to get sleep for the special event that was Saturday morning. My trip mostly consisted of restless nights instead of being rested. Good thing that this special event is going to Las Vegas next year so I don't have to deal with this hotel again!!

Went here for 10 nights in September 09 with the better half, and for the price it was utterly fantastic. I'm not one to nit pick at places, and this hotel has everything you need. We were on a budget, and for the price it was like luxery. It was called the International Plaza Spa and Resot when i booked it, but seemed to have just been refurbished and rebranded by DoubleTree.

The rooms were very spacious, with 2 double beds, a tv, phone, internet access, an excellent shower (in a bath), and at whatever temperature you want.

The facilities were excellent, with 2 pools, one of which has a bar which serves beautiful food. There's a shop with the all the necessities, another with pizza hut and ice-cream, a small off-licence, a clothes shop, a games room, rent-a-car, and a really helpful help desk.

The staff were more than what i could expect, evey one of them were helpful, and even went above and beyond their duty to help me rent a car. The welcome pack gives you loads of money off vouchers (i highly recommend the ribs in the Nascar Bar in Universal Studios, and you give it half price with a voucher from the hotel).

The location is perfect, with SeaWorld a 2 minute walk away, and Aquatica a five minute walk away. As it's on International Drive there's an i-Ride stop just outside the hotel main door which will bring you anywhere on International Drive for about $1, and there is loads to go to.

I highly recommend this hotel to anyone going to Orlando, and even though you might have to pay for a mini-fridge it's not something that should merit a mention. It's an extra, get over it. I definitely will be going to this hotel every time i go to Orlando.
