Our previous character experience took much longer than expected and we were a bit late to our lunch reservation at Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater - and therefore stressed we couldn't eat in time to make our next fast pass (they advise leaving 1 hour and 15 min for the meal), but our waiter Hassan made it happen for us. First, he relaxed us with some humor and promised that even if we were late for the fast passes- he would work some Disney magic to make it okay. Our kids were well past hungry, and they had spotted people in the waiting area munching on some popcorn-- so they ask our poor waiter right away when he approached the table for popcorn. He promised them something better than popcorn, and rushed out some sliced apples :) We then ordered and he brought the food out amazingly fast - saved our day. Two other things Hassan did that impressed me- our friends decided to split a wedge salad instead of fries, and he brought out the salad already split in two bowls for them. He also confirmed none of our children had a food allergy before he served them anything. The food was very good- I had a classic cheeseburger and fries, only suggestion I have is to request some sauce for the burger. I thought the film clips they were showing were neat to watch, and the overall experience was great. We'll be back for sure!!

We have just had a fantastic time at the Sci-fi diner. Such a unique place. Lacelle our waiter made such a fuss of the kids and was brilliant. Great end to our wonderful day at Hollywood Studios. Had to rush off to see the fireworks so he packed up the puds too.

We loved the theming here, with the drive-in set up and the movies playing. The food was good but pricey. The only thing we didn’t like was the content of what was being shown on the movie screen. I get that it’s a sci-fi themed place, but it would be so much better if they showed Disney cartoons/clips on the big screen. Just my opinion, but still a good place to eat.

Their was a glitch in the computers and my order (along with everyone else’s at my table) was lost so it took a long time to get our food. Instead of discounting my meal our table was given onion rings. Once my food arrived it was not good at all. I had a pasta dish and a milkshake and my bill was $39.00 and an automatic 18% gratuity was still added to my bill even after the mess up.
