Positives first, our waiter was really cool and we had a good chat about music. Negatives: the restaurant was too cold. The food took ages to arrive. Ages. The food was really unimpressive and bland except for a heavy dose of salt in the absence of any other flavours. For the quantity and the quality, it was very expensive. This isn’t what you’d expect from a five star hotel. Eat at one of the many restaurants nearby including the city walk at universal instead. It’s just not worth it.

Hard to believe this place is still open. We stayed at hard rock a while back and went over there for a fun (we thought), cool (we thought) 16th bday dinner while staying at a nearby hotel. They said they had these amazing desserts and we wanted to show our daughters BFF how cool this spot was since we were staying elsewhere. What a nightmare ! Grossest food. Terrible service. Can’t believe how horrible it was. Yuck!

Another with to The Kitchen, and another sheer pleasure - this is just a great place for adults (great food - try steaks, wine) and kids (cartoon character walk around the place, taking pictures recommended). The quality of food is very high, wine selection - absolutely satisfactory.

Breakfast with the family was great the eggs were done correctly. The plates had plenty on each. For being stuck in the resort the prices were reasonable for the amount and quality of the food.

We were staying at Hard Rock because of the Express pass's, however the passes were so good we didnt need to rush around from "rope drop" like other parks to do any rides. We could do any ride, any time and usually with a wait of only 10-20 min. This meant we could relax, and actually have breakfast.

$75 for buffet breakfast for 4 (2 adults and 2 kids) In my younger days this would be an eating mission, but I'm older but not necessarily wiser. The Kitchen made "made to order" omelets, eggs any way, waffles and pancakes. My kids were in Heaven. There was fruit and cereal, and a limitless supply of juice (which my kids loved as they dont get limitless juice at home)

Staff were excellent, removed plates, offered more drinks (juice and coffee) and were really friendly.

we were charging ourselves for another full day in the park, but this little luxury was a brilliant start.

Great buffet breakfast and would go again
