This was our first stay at a Diamond Resort. When we checked in the front staff was friendly then they directed me over to the other desk were they wanted me to take a 90 minute presentation. I said no and they were surprised I did not want $100. But that was ok. We check into the room the room was spacious. They made good use of colors and placement of furniture. The pools were clean and had lots of room for the guests to swim. This resort had I good selection of activities for people to do if they wanted to stay at the resort. They had a good store on site with a good selection of goods and food. The decks on the rooms were nice and were screened in so you did not have to worry about bugs. The beds and pillows were comfortable.
After we watched the presentation by Stephen Cloobeck we looked around our room more closely. The kitchen was missing a few things for people who like to cook. They should have scissors, non stick frying pan and a set of good knifes not dollar store ones. The living room furniture in the room look good but was very uncomfortable to sit in. The sound proofing in the suite was not good. You could hear every word the neighbor was saying when the talked normal. My daughter had to leave the TV on at night so she could sleep. We have stayed at a lot of resorts and this seems to be a common problem. There was a charge for internet. The floor moldings were dusty, and the tile above the tub was dusty. The Windows had mold on them. You could smell it as soon as you came in the room. The windows in the living room were dirty. When they painted the walls in the bathroom they got paint on the moldings. The shower wall still had A31 on it from when they installed it. The sink in the bathroom had dirt and the chrome bezel on the sink drain had fallen off. Paint chips on the wall and furniture. The light switched were wired back wards. The first switch when you want in the room should be the light for that room but it was usually the last and the switches were behind doors so you had to walk into a dark room close the door and turn on the light. And the last day we were there a nice big beetle run out from under the laundry unit. I would not let this discourage you from staying here. It is a nice place.
