“Fantabulous!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 March 2012

If you are like me, and want to be immersed in the world of Harry Potter, this is the place to be. The amount of detail is astounding. The windows in shops are full of familiar trinkets and scenes. Animotronic owls sit among the rafters of the bell clock. Olivander found a wand for a bright eyed little girl and I had to hold back tears of joy. Hogwarts and the ride within are a site to behold. I wanted to shriek with joy and how perfect it seemed. And there was the butterbeer. What a delicious awesome little drink! I must have taken 10 pictures of me and my friends holding a butterbeer mug with foam mustaches. If you are thinking about going, go. There is no doubt that you will be delighted with this truly magical place.

TIP: Make sure you go during the day and at night. There are things you will miss unless you go to both!

“Very Cool!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 March 2012

I really loved the look of Hogsmead. We didi not have time to visit the shops, but I hope to do it in the future. Hogwarts Castle was neat, but I wish there was more interaction in the greenhouse. We enjoyed the ride, but I think I had built it up so much in my head...it wasn't as cool as I expected. Still very cool, though!
Afterwards I enjoyed a frozen butterbeer. Delicious!

“There is an attraction really disappoint you!”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 March 2012

There is one attraction requires long time waiting (more than 90 minutes) and the express pass is not applicable. The Wand Show is only 5-minutes' show and really disappointed!

“Great, with a few glitches”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 March 2012

This is a spectacular ride, maybe the best one of all in the Orlando parks, and that comes from a real Disney freak. In addition, it features a walk-through of Hogwarts castle complete with interactive stuff that really evokes the books and movies, wow!

However......
1. Unless you stay at one of the hotels run by Universal, you will not be able to enter the park until 9am. Universal guests are admitted at 8am, giving them plenty of time to fill up the ride queue. We got in on the dot of 9, and by the time we hiked to the back of the park where Harry and the gang are, the wait time was 90 minutes. Also, don't carry a camera bag, a backpack, or any kind of bag at all; they will make you check it when you enter the castle and that process will put you another 15 minutes or so behind. Pockets, pockets, pockets.

After the ride you may want to purchase a Butterbeer (they are indeed delicious). There is a cart conveniently located on the Hogsmeade street, and if you look, there is quite a spacious little picnic area close to the cart where you can sit down and take a breather. By this time you will need it.

Your ticket will entitle you to all the Islands of Adventure rides. We love The Cat in the Hat, the Dr. Seuss carousel, all the roller coasters if you like coasters, and Poseidon's Adventure.
