I am typically very particular when it comes to hotels, and the Waldorf Orlando exceeded my expectations. There is nothing worse than returning to a hotel room at the end of a long day and not feeling comfortable in the room, but I cannot think of a single element of my stay there that I would change. I typically select Four Season's or Park Hyatts when I travel, but since being introduced to the Waldorf I would definitely be open to trying the brand at other locations as well.

We arrived at 5 pm after having spent 3 frustrating nights at the Ritz Carlton in Palm Beach to find our rooms were not ready. However, unlike the Ritz, the Waldorf Astoria staff member made an apology and gave an understandable explanation (the previous guests had not left in a timely fashion). More impressively they offered us an actual room to relax in while we waited for our rooms to be ready - a truly classy move. As well, we were given vouchers for drinks and that evening warm cookies and mild were delivered to our room compliments of the hotel with a written apology. After that there was no looking back. Sometimes it is how an establishment deals with the challenges that sets it apart.

There is no question, this is one of the very best hotels we have stayed in and we have traveled extensively. The service is impeccable, with a smile and true desire to make your stay as fabulous as it can be. The beds are dreamy, the rooms are large enough (we had a suite with two rooms and a living room between) the view of the fireworks a real treat, the in-room Nespresso machine was much appreciated and the spa was one of the nicest I have had the pleasure of enjoying. Our package came with breakfast vouchers and we took advantage of the buffet breakfast each morning which fueled us for a full day of park hopping. Even with the NBA All Stars game in town and a large conference at the Hilton - which is attached - the service did not decline. The hotel was buzzing with activity and the presence of staff members available to deal with your every question and concern just seemed to increase with the activity.

Although the pools are less populated by children than the Hilton, they are lovely and my children and I just walked over to the Hilton when we wanted a ride down the 'lazy river'. The pools are shared between the two hotels.

All in all a spectacular hotel experience.

Room Tip: Viewing the fireworks at Epcot AND The Magic Kingdom was a real treat.

A truly amazing hotel. Definitely worth it's ratings. Staff were excellent and very attentive to every need. The Peacock Alley bar is lovely as is the pianist and live music. Wish we had time to go to BB steak lounge definitely on the list for next time. Would recommend getting the Bell Staff to book transport to airport as chauffeurs take you for just an extra $7 compared to taxi. Hotel rooms are gorgeous. We stayed on the 15th floor the lounge was lovely, the ammenities great and the beds were divine. The staff here can't do enough to help you. The pools look lovely as did the hot tub unfortunately we arrived at dusk so never got to use them. The whole resort feels intimate an is truly a lovely place to stay especially if after a romantic escape

The Bonnet Creek area is actually on the Disney Property. It's a piece of land that Walt could not acquire way back when. This Waldorf is a unique upscale venue in Orlando. It's patterned after Grand Lakes, with the golf course, a small convention area and an adjacent Hilton. All very nice pieces of the property. Of course the Waldorf is truly unique. My wife and I enjoyed a getaway and we were treated exceptionally. The service is some of the very best I've ever experienced and I travel extensively. Service is what sets it apart. It has tremendous restaurants, music and the rooms are on the large side. The golf clubhouse is literally steps from the front door and is very nice; tough, beautiful but fair. Adjacent Hilton is exceptional too; more of a family style pool. My wife said the spa was among the best she's ever been too; again service set it apart from other spa experiences. Enjoy!

We had a suite facing Epcot to watch the fireworks at night which was well worth the price. Room service food was excellent, the entire suite, kitchen and bathrooms were spotless and everyone we encountered on the staff was professional and welcoming. Proximty to the Magic Kingdom was superb. If you are travelling with children I think the Hilton next door is a better fit but my kids loved the hotel there just were no other children at the pool. Also the business center is located at the Hilton so if you are expecting a FedEx or need other ammenities you need to go next door to the Hilton. The shuttle service was also very good but the ride home from the magic Kingdom will run you 40 minutes as the shuttle bus stops at other parks for Waldorf and Hilton guests. Highly recommend this hotel.
