What an amazing place. We made the mistake of having a shake w, shared 3 ways, while we waited. Bad move. Our meals were excellent both times we visited. I had appetizers both times and still had leftovers. Kid portions were good sized too. Had to bypass the chocolate portion. I'm not a big consumer of candy but what I saw was sure pretty.

While staying at Universal we decided to visit the Emporium. First night was packed and had a long wait. It looks larger on the outside than it actually is. Food choices and quality are decent, but nothing to write home about. Service was great and the restaurant itself is clean and has a great atmosphere. However, they excell at deserts. Over 30 options, all stunning looking and tasting. It's a little pricey but you do get to keep the mug as a souvenir. I would visit again, but maybe just for desert to go...but it's worth the meal experience at least once

We did not eat a meal here but we were lured in by the idea of tasty chocolates. They have a wide variety of truffles with interesting flavor combinations. We even tried a little of the dark chocolate covered bacon. All-in-all everything was pretty tasty, just a little pricey which should be expected considering the locale.

Ate here for lunch in October 2019 as it had a high appeal with the interesting appearance and nice decor in addition to the idea of a chocolate factory offering a dining experience. It’s somewhere we had looked at before arriving so a visit was something we was looking forward to and had high expectations of the place. Unfortunately the overall experience was less than satisfying.

Visited on a Friday lunchtime and was told 10-20 minutes for a table (more than fair) but this took 25 minutes. We then were shown to waiting area to wait another 5 minutes for the table (I have never had to wait to wait again for a table). After being seated the server took our drinks and food order quickly. Unfortunately that was the only quick thing from then on. The food took around 35 minutes to come up (for 2 sandwiches and fries) and were told the reason it took so long is because they were waiting for fresh fries. Well the fresh fries turned up cold so unsure that was the reason. My Croque Monsieur was not even a coffee shop standard toastie, in my opinion, but at 3/4 times the price. It come up burnt and pretty tasteless. The sweet tea was undrinkable as even as someone who likes sweet drinks this was off the scale.

The bill including service charge for 2 sandwiches, fries and 2 drinks was $47 and I would’ve been disappointed even paying half of that. The server was busy and done what she could, so that’s the only reason I’ll give 2/5.

Also tried a chocolate bar from the upstairs chocolate factory and that was awful (as well as the fact it costs around $3 per bar).

Would not visit this place again. Slow, food and chocolate not great and very expensive.
