Basilic‘s Pho is the real thing and served as you would expext to receive it in Vietnam. The broth is very tasty and you can select whatever meat you want with it. They also guve you the option to either have rice or glass noodles. I have been there a number of times and have tried the chicken and the shrimp. The chicken serving is pretty substantial and almost amounts to a whole chicken breast. The shrimp version is a bit more skimpy with only four to five pieces. The bean sprouts, chilly pepper and fresh mint is served on the side so you can add to the soup according to taste. It also comes with soy sauce and chilly paste on the side that you can add to make the broth more salty or spicey. Service is pretty efficient and friendly. It can get busy in the weekends but I neverhad to make reservations so far. The restrooms could be a bit cleaner though. There is a lot of grime in the corners and there were paper towels on the floor and sink. So, clearl the staff dies not check the toilets frequently enough. Nevertheless recommended for the food.
